The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 6-24-2024 at approximately 12:44 pm they received a call of a child that was run over by a lawnmower at a residence off of 260th Street west of Cushing, MN in Cushing Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a 27-year-old female from Cushing, MN was mowing the lawn with a riding lawnmower. She was backing up the lawnmower and accidentally ran over the foot of a six-year-old juvenile male while the PTO was engaged. The child was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Minneapolis, MN with a severe foot injury.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Randall Fire and Rescue, Life Link III and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
