The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 9-23-2025 at approximately 4:24 pm, their office received a report of a motorcycle accident east of Highway 10 on Azalea Road, approximately one mile south of Motley, MN in Motley Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a motorcycle driven by 19-year-old Brian Vorbeck of Motley, MN was traveling west on Azalea Road. Vorbeck lost control of the motorcycle when two dogs ran out on the road forcing him off the road. Vorbeck was transported to Lakewood Hospital in Staples by family members with unknown injuries. Vorbeck was wearing a helmet.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Motley Police Department.
