The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 9-8-2024 at approximately 8:22 pm, their office received a report of a vehicle vs. scooter accident at the intersection of Haven Road and Riverwood Drive just north of Little Falls, MN in Belle Prairie Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 18-year-old Hailey Farnick of Little Falls, MN was traveling north on Haven Road in the southbound shoulder on a scooter and 46-year-old Christopher Plakut of Little Falls, MN was traveling south on Haven Road in a 2015 Jeep. Plakut was slowing down to turn right onto Riverwood Drive, as he entered the turn lane, he struck the scooter. Farnick was transported to St. Gabriel’s Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with unknown injuries. The driver of the scooter was not wearing a helmet or reflective clothing. This case is still under investigation
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Little Falls Police Department, MN State Patrol and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
