Morrison County Sheriff’s Office

August 30, 2024



The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 8-29-2024 at approximately 6:19 pm, they received a report of a one-vehicle accident on Sycamore Road, approximately seven miles east of Harding, MN in Richardson Township.

 

According to the Sheriff’s Office, 20-year-old Aunika Weckman of Milaca, MN was traveling west on Sycamore Road approaching a curve. The vehicle went off the road to the left and struck a tree. Weckman and her passenger, 19-year-old Brianna Heemstra of Foley, MN were transported by Onamia Ambulance to Onamia Hospital with unknown injuries. Alcohol is believed to be involved and this case is still under investigation.

 

The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Pierz Fire Department, Hillman Area Rescue Team and Onamia Ambulance.
