The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 8-20-2024 at approximately 2:10 am, a Morrison County deputy conducted a traffic stop for an observed traffic violation while traveling northbound on Highway 10, near Cushing, MN. During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy became suspicious of potential illegal drug activity. The deputy deployed his K-9 partner around the vehicle and the K-9 alerted to the presence of narcotics within the vehicle. Deputies later conducted a search of the vehicle and located multiple hypodermic needles and packaged methamphetamine.
The driver was identified as Reba Lego, age 27, from Grand Forks, ND. The passenger of the vehicle was identified as Toni Myhre, age 43, from Mahnomen, MN. Both Lego and Myhre were taken into custody and are being held at the Morrison County Jail pending formal charges.
Sheriff Larsen commended the deputy’s vigilance and the deputy’s K-9 which led to the discovery and seizure of over 5 ounces of methamphetamine. Their actions have made our communities safer by taking a significant amount of dangerous drugs off the streets. The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to pursuing illegal narcotics and maintaining the safety and well-being of our residents.
