The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on 8-30-2025 at approximately 6:52 pm, their office received a report of an ATV accident with injuries on the Soo-Line Trail between Partridge Road and 335th Avenue, approximately six miles east of Pierz, MN in Hillman Township.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 58-year-old Troy Pelland of International Falls, MN was driving a side-by-side ATV traveling west on the Soo-Line Trail. Pelland lost control of the side-by-side, entered the steep ditch and rolled. Pelland and his passenger, 57-year-old Lori Pelland of International Falls, MN were transported to St Cloud Hospital by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with unknown injuries.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the MN State Patrol, Pierz Fire Department, Pierz First Response Team and Mayo Clinic Ambulance.
