The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reports that on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at approximately 3:18 pm, their office received a report of a female that was trapped under a round bale in a field, located in Ripley Township, northeast of Little Falls.
Deputies learned that 38-year-old Tasha Wood of Fort Ripley, MN had been assisting her husband, who was operating a skid loader equipped with a bale spear. While unloading round bales from a trailer, one of the round bales slid off the spear attachment and landed on Wood. She was briefly pinned under the bale.
Wood was transported by Mayo Clinic Ambulance to St. Joseph’s Hospital in Brainerd with unknown injuries.
